89 - multi-threaded client connection failure

A multi-thread aware application is not able to open a connection with an openamq server and the connection request times out. I might be missing some fundamental configuration which I am unable to figure out.

Surprisingly a single process making an open-amqp calls is possible to publish the messages even though the ampq calls internally is multi-threaded.

Could anyone help me out with that ? The code is given below.

Sorry for posting it twice. The issues sections seems to be a relevant place to post it.

87 - Zyre returns incomplete XML

After starting using Zyre a bit more seriously on windows, GET on pipe url returns incomplete XML.

86 - SFL 'random(num)' macro is wrong in sfl.h

Put here one paragraph that summarizes the issue. Do not delete the line containing '====', it must be there.

85 - Zyre does not start on Solaris

Zyre fails shortly after startup with an APR assertion failure. This is probably due to the outdated APR version 1.3.3 that ships with OpenAMQ 1.4c0

84 - OpenAMQ JMS - AMQTopic constructor use HEADER name and class instead of TOPIC

When using AMQTopic form openamq-jms project, the messages sent to the topic are received by
listener on another topic.

How to 'override' (i.e. install your own) process signal handlers that are provided by WireAPI?

82 - Opf Classes Cannot Accept Default Values With Characte

When creating an OPF file with default values containing the '%' character the generated code is not valid.

81 - AMQP Topic Exhange Routing

A queue is bound to a topic exchange with a wildcard, prior to a topic being created. Subsequently another queue binds to the topic exchange without a wildcard. Publishing to the topic generates a hit only on the non-wildcard binding. If the binding order is reversed (i.e. the wildcard binding occurs after the topic is created), the message is routed to both queues as expected. Is this behavior correct?

80 - OpenAMQ reports malformed frame on 0-9-1 queue.unbind

OpenAMQ doesn't appear to decode correctly a queue.unbind method frame, reporting "502 malformed frame for 'queue.unbind' method"

79 - AMQ Server crashing if subscribe topic is set as #.#

This is an issue that I faced while I used the WireAPI to connect and read from teh AMQ server. Giving a routing key of value "#.#" crashes the AMQ server.

78 - Error while publishing the messages faster

Hi,

I tried publishing messages from a windows machine in a fast rate (not so fast though) using the C wire API, and I am getting this error at the AMQ server. I tried the same code from a Linux machine and I am not getting this error. What could be the reason?

2009-10-29 19:08:23: E: Connection error: 502 Expected a method frame, closing connection (127.0.0.1:4751, OpenAMQ Kernel Client, 1.4c0, test)

Thanks,

74 - Simulaneous connect/disconnect from multiple threads crashes

As I understand, wireapi is threadsafe as long as I don't use objects from multiple threads.

But when I stress test connect and disconnect from multiple threads, openamq client crashes.

73 - Topic Exchange not sending a message to XXX.*

Using the topic exchange I have setup three programs. Ones that receives messages(Master) from multiple senders and sends replys to them using the queue name and routing key. One that sends messages(sender) to the Master and receives a reply message and one that reads all messages(readAll) binding as "XXX.*". The readAll process is NOT getting the message sent by the Master program.

72 - amq_content_basic_new() causes seg fault if not connected to broker

I realize this is incorrect usage of the WireAPI, but I thought I'd mention it: If you call amq_content_basic_new() before you're connected to the broker, the program will seg-fault.

69 - OpenAMQ and Zyre

I have been trying out the Zyre server on top of the OpenAMQ server to get a better feel for the RestMS work/specs but I am having problems with them. They are both running on an Ubuntu server with default configuration (apart from logging levels) and not only do my RestMS messages give the response of working (all 201 and 200 at the right points) something is missing. The Zyre log shows the creation of my feed, pipe and join all OK, but if I look at the OpenAMQ server with the shell tool, I can see the exchange corresponding to my feed, but there are no bindings created corresponding to my join.

I have tried your Perl examples too but they seem to assume the AQMP profile but that does not appear to be installed/supported/running on the OpenAMQ server at all, only the Default profile.

Am I missing something or this the state of play at the moment? I hope you may be able to throw some light on it.

67 - Server crash when multiple consumers ack on shared queue

I'm running the latest version 1.3d0 with the new feature on Basic.ACK on shared queue. It works fine when one consumer is ack'ing. However, the server crashed when multiple consumers are called basic_ack. Let me know what I can provide to help track down the root cause.

90 - Frequent coredump in OpenAMQ

We are continuously seeing coredump in OpenAMQ, this is seen in Solaris 10u10 but same binary when run on Solaris 10u5 doesn't produce coredump. The issue seems very much close to Issue: 60 listed in "know issue" section.
