The building step that sets conf_opts should pull options from an environment variable called APR_BOOM_CONF_OPTS. (This is a change for foreign/apr/project.pdl)

In my freshly downloaded 1.3.d0 the APR_BOOM_CONF_OPTS variable is still missing.
Yes, you're right. I forgot to commit the backport, so the change is in the 1.4c0 package but not 1.3d0. mea culpa.
You can patch foreign/apr/project.pdl:
And then run 'boom configure' in foreign. That should do it.

Sorry Pieter, it's also missing in 1.4.c0. Same for the BOOM_NOTEST variable. I couldn't find either of them neither in 1.3.d0, nor in 1.4.c0.
Yup, you're right. Somehow these changes escaped. I'm going to modify the packaging scripts to make this impossible from now on. Sorry about that.
We'll make a new release later next week with those fixes, then.
